After a year and half of careful planning and five months of hundreds of hours of grueling dungeons and raids, we have finally defeated the last boss of The Nighthold, Grand Magistrix Elisande. "What about Gul'dan", you say? Well, in the end we decided he wasn't such a bad guy after all.

Mythic Helya was a great boss -- the first really fun and challenging fight of Legion, in fact. It was unfortunate that progression coincided with Thanksgiving. Oh, well, on to The Nighthold!

While the tier was ultimately a let down from the standpoint that the race never really got off the ground, we were very pleased with our performance in The Emerald Nightmare, especially given our reduced raid schedule this tier as well as not having raided in a progression fashion for over a year. The true meaning of a high rank in the progression race is a function of both the quality of the challenge presented by the raid encounter, as well as the quality and motivation of the participants seeking it.
