WWS Parses or equivalent: My current guild restricts their logs for some strange reason. I can PM the login info the officers or persons in charge of reading over logs.

Edit: I made that sound like I'm hiding something so I'll just give out the info. The Username is cyndaquil10 and the password is spanish. I'm in the raids from 7/20 and up.

Do you have an authenticator?
Yes.

Tell us about your last guild(s) and the history with why are you choosing us over them:
Currently I'm in Subject For Change on Shadow Council. It's a guild that was started by six people who broke off from Promethean of Malfurion about a month ago. They convinced me to join them two weeks ago stating they would have top notch players and eventually rise to US/World top 100. When I got there all I saw was immature teenagers who could barely get enough talent to support 9/12 ICC HM. They are the most dramatic guild that I've ever been to, always trolling forums and even having bad history on the server. It's not what I signed up for and I'm looking for a new home.

I re-rolled a druid for the start of WotLK and joined Promethean of Malfurion. I gained all of my raiding experience while in this guild and I made a lot of friends along the way. In late may I decided that I needed to take a break so that I could focus on finals and finishing up my research papers. I had told the officers this but when I returned I found myself unguilded. Of course I wasn't happy about this and so I decided to take a break from the game for a brief period of time.

Midwinter seems like a guild that I could fit very well into. The raid schedule works fine with mine, I feel that I meet all of the requirements and I know that I can be a good fit socially into the guild.

Tell us how you play your class, and how it makes you stand apart from others:
I'll be the first to admit that it's not difficult to succeed playing as a resto druid in ICC. The cookie-cutter 5 rejuvs-Wild Growth-5 rejuvs style is very popular and very effective. I do, however, always look for ways to improve myself and set myself apart from other resto druids.

For example: 4/5 Sanc is the basic set up for trees in ICC. It's what I've always ran and I've never had a problem with that. However, I was wondering about using 2/5 Sanc filling the other slots with 277's and seeing if my numbers would improve. You'll see in the logs from 7/20 (4/5 Sanc) and 7/27 (2/5 Sanc) that my numbers improved on every single fight but one. The only fight that I lose eHPS was on BQ, but that was caused by a combination of things: shroud casting on me forcing me to be out of range of most people, stupid server lag that was unexplained and different healers who were much better.

Glyph choices are also an iffy area when looking at it from maximizing numbers as a tree. Most if not all raiding trees use the standard WG/SM for 25m's. The third glyph is where it gets tricky and I notice most people take Nourish for fights with constant aoe damage like BQ/Prof/Sind/Fester. I have found that Glyph of Rejuvenation, for these fights, adds at least 1-2% of healing done throughout the fight. Now, that may not seem like a lot but 60-70k extra healing makes a difference, for me at least.

What do you have bound to your 1-5 keys?
1:Regrowth
2:Rejuvenation
3:Nourish
4:Lifebloom
5:Wild Growth

Tell us about yourself. Show us the man/woman behind the character. And impress us, make us laugh. Convince us we want you in our guild. If you don't take the time to sell yourself, there's no reason for us to want to take you. We've worked hard to make this a great place to raid and demand incoming candidates prove they're committed to continuing that.

Well, I'm a 23 year old graduate student who works part time at a law firm in downtown Houston. I went to Texas Tech for my undergrad, where I joined a fraternity and had a great time in the short three years that I was there. I graduated and took a year off of school to pursue other areas in my life that I thought would take me somewhere. I worked full time at a law firm for six months (when I decided I would go to law school, be a lawyer and change the world). I found that law, more specifically immigration law, wasn't for me. Lawyers worked 80 hours a week and sometimes spent the night in their offices, their social lives were completely dead (even for the partners who supposedly lived a great life) and some lawyers barely ever saw their kids. I decided I wanted more out of life than a sizable paycheck, nice clothes and a big house. I decided to pursue my PhD and am currently getting my Master's in Irish History.

I'm a very social kind of guy and I like getting to know people. Outside of the game I'm always doing things with friends and families whether it be sports, travelling (floating the river has become a favorite thing of mine to do) or going out on the weekends. I bring this attitude with me into WoW as well. I enjoy getting to know the people that I raid with because I feel that knowing your teammates proves effective from a raiding standpoint.

I like your generalization of the law profession.

I could bore you with countless details of filing waivers and visa forms, sitting in on meetings, taking affidavits, 10+ hours days, etc...but I'd rather save you the trouble.

What are your views regarding the current class changes to resto druids? I know many people aren't thrilled at losing permanent tree form along with our currently messed up talent tree. Along with the playstyle of resto druids being completely revamped, healing in general should be changing a good amount to with yet another nerf to mana regem. Do you still plan to play a healer, resto druid in particular, when Cataclysm rolls around?

It's pretty obvious the devs don't want us rolling hots and jumping all the time in a raid. I don't like that Trees will be a CD for an "oh shit" moment. On the same token, making us use all of our spells will create a different healing dynamic that I'm looking forward to. I still plan on healing in Cata so we'll see how that goes.
