Do you have an authenticator? Yes

Tell us about your last guild(s) and the history with why are you choosing us over them: I joined Burninators with the promise of being in a great guild. It was a new endeavor and I was glad to be a part of it. I have spent the last month not getting any upgrades and falling behind the other DK's in gear and ultimately DPS. I play for progress and content, and I am not getting that.

Tell us how you play your class, and how it makes you stand apart from others: I play my class for the good of the raid. I will spec anyway with full confidence and do my best to for the raid. I am flexible and take pride in the fact that the raid leader can call on me to do anything, and I don't flinch. (i.e., Chains-of-Ice bot on Suarfang; taunting blood beast to buy ranged more time to kill them. Third ICC tank and OT for 10 mans). Additionally I am not shy about changing gear. In fights like Festergut it is easy to keep sigil of the hanged man proced 100% of the time. It is not a mainstay, but a utility and should be used as such. I'm no braintrust but I do know that 219 str with a 100% up time is better than 200 str that procs.

What do you have bound to your 1-5 keys? Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike, Scourge Strike, and a Blood Tap/ Bone Shield Macro

Tell us about yourself. Show us the man/woman behind the character. And impress us, make us laugh. Convince us we want you in our guild. If you don't take the time to sell yourself, there's no reason for us to want to take you. We've worked hard to make this a great place to raid and demand incoming candidates prove they're committed to continuing that. I am 31 and retired from the military. I got a degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University, and have been a widower for almost a year. I go by the nickname “oddball” because I lost a testicle in Iraq. I am very dry and mock people when they do stupid things. I love to eat fatty foods, kick hippies, cut down old tress and club baby seals. My aspersion is to be a sniper on the Texas/ Mexico boarder. I have a strong personality and opinions, but don't share them in trade chat or guild chat. That is not the place. I do not take RL issues into WoW..Thanks for your time I am off to release greenhouse gasses :)

ZOMG... I wondered what happened to Openwide... The man finally got him down trying to get back home.
Healers are artists. No one fully appreciates them until they're dead. Think about it...

Nope, I let them go the other way  Don't worry, if I lived up north I would keep the Canadians out too

Sure looks like you obtained plenty of gear to me. Considering you have wrists weapon trinket ring and neck. Which is a substantial amount amount of gear. Also I see a good many things wrong with your gem choices. If you re-evaluated your gear you could get more dps out of it.

I am always looking at what is said "Ensidia" say's gem this way "EJ" another and simulators yet another. I spoke with a DK in a national top 5 and he sent me this direction. As far as the gear goes that was all in the first month of ICC (with exception of emblem gear). I will look at the geming again and reevaluate. I would be open to any recommendations that you have.

there are a couple general rules to follow when gemming a death knight.... and i dunno who told you, but ALL parses show this to be superior DPS

When To Go Yellow/Orange

There are, essentially, two cases in which you will want to divert from the “Gem everything for strength” mantra that otherwise holds true and go for yellow/orange.

The first case is if you aren’t at the hit cap. Hit is your most valuable stat before such a point, and as such it is ideal to gem for it. In such a situation simply use [Rigid King's Amber] in yellow sockets with [Etched Ametrine] in red sockets until you reach the melee cap.

The second case is a matter of the following chart. Whenever a socket bonus requiring any number of red sockets, zero blue sockets, and then one (or more, simply multiply the number in the chart appropriately) yellow sockets, has a bonus that is equal to or higher than the number listed in the following chart utilize an [Inscribed Ametrine].

Stat iLvl 245/258 iLvl 251/258 iLvl 264 iLvl 277
Attack Power 9 11 10 8
Strength 3 4 3 3
Crit Rating 5 6 5 4
ArP Rating 5 5 4 3
Expertise Rating 6 7 6 5
Haste Rating 6 6 5 4
Agility 6 8 7 5
Hit Rating 3 3 3 2

Your 10 all stats should be in a blue socket not a yellow socket, in your helm should be a 10 strength 10 crit. I'd say put your 10 all stats in your neck, thats a socket boost of 4 Strength for one socket.
You should have a 10 strength 10 crit gem in the yellow socket of your legs.
You should have your 10 strength 15 stam in your boots, thats a socket bonus of 6 strength only using one blue gem, no yellow gems and any number of red, which matches the meta requirements section above.
You should have a 10 strength 10 crit gem in your gloves yellow socket.
You should have a 10 strength 10 crit gem in your belts yellow socket.
You should have a 10 strength 10 crit gem in your rings yellow socket.
You should have a 10 strength 10 crit gem in your bracers yellow socket.

Your also way over expertise cap, this could be solved by getting t9 chest and getting the triumph badge helmet
