As you can see I have worked hard on it, and I can say that it has paid off...the hours spent logged on and not playing killed me though.

I chose this fight because it shows my adaptation. I'll explain. We...no sorry the GM, decided to change up how we typically do the fight. He tanked the boss in a different place and moved him more the he usually did. The first few pulls were a cluster but by the end I knew where to be and what was coming. Sucks it was a wipe and for some reason beyond me we went to ToGC after this close atempt. Feel free to brouse around.
Do you have an authenticator?
Yes, my cousin got his account hacked and shut him down for 2 weeks. After seeing that I figured it is worth the $6.
Tell us about your last guild(s) and the history with why are you choosing us over them:
I started playing 2 years ago. My first guild was BÄNE. I was an officer but it was not a progression guild. Fun group to bs with but after a year of it I wanted to enjoy the end game more so I joined a guild called Grumpy Old Men. Things were ok there until Aeon came out and all the officers stared playing that instead…the guild has since broke up, surprise! Now I am with a guild called Apex. I have been raiding with them for 5 months now. It is a pretty good guild but the GM is ok at best. I have made friends with a few of the officers and they /w me that the gm has no idea what to do pre pull. I was wondering why we were sitting 8 min with no chat. We have a solid 10 man group but we can’t clear end game 25 man bosses…even togc. I am looking for a group that can clear the mechanics and have a great time doing it which I see in your guild. Another big issue is raid times. I need the evening so I can be with my GF so 11 - 3 CST is perfect for me.
Tell us how you play your class, and how it makes you stand apart from others:
I set my UI up around the idea that I will be moving and I will be target switching. I try to keep it as clean and tight as I can. I still see everything I need information wise, but see as much as the playing field as I can. During most pulls, especially the initial pulls on a new boss, most people imo just start dpsing and react to mechanics as they come. I try and do as much research as possible pre raid to figure where I need to stand, what target macros I need to right, and when I need to shadow fiend/disperse etc. in order to anticipate as much as possible. I also pride my self on very high activity and very low moving. This is what I strive for on recount and the dmg. done will culminate out of that. O and people who pad their dps with aoe when there is clearly a kill target should be shot...in the head...twice.
What do you have bound to your 1-5 keys?
In shadow
` = "Opie" (sw:d, weapon swap)
1=sw:p
2=dp
3=mb
4=mf
5=vt
Not in shadow
1=renew
2=binding heal
3=greater heal
4=flash heal
5=PoM
(every buff, spell, hell even mounts, are key bound. I do click pots so I dont miss hit a key)
Tell us about yourself. Show us the man/woman behind the character. And impress us, make us laugh. Convince us we want you in our guild. If you don't take the time to sell yourself, there's no reason for us to want to take you. We've worked hard to make this a great place to raid and demand incoming candidates prove they're committed to continuing that
I am going to try really hard to no make this sound like an "about me" section of facebook. I am a design/remodeler and the stresses of soccer moms with torn up kitchens has driven me to hours of WoW theropy. I love to give people shit with in reason and do not mind taking it...with in reason. On the flip side I really enjoy atmospheres where people are helping people be better players. So please please please feel free to give me advice about play style, addons, etc. I hope to find a home soon because I play this game for an outlet, BUT I need to be with people that pride themselves in their playing. Aside from WoW I spend a lot of time out door doing midwest country boy stuff. I would really like an oppertunity to have a conversation with you and your members of Midwinter. Thank you for your time.
