One of the current issues with Ke'lThuzad, the lag is brutal, you can be fine one second and on the boss pull MS jumps to 600+ ms. I haven't been making full use of potions in the alt raids due to it being alt raids. I still double pot on Saurfang, and will pot on Rotface and Festergut. This lack of of consumables actually annoys me greatly, but due to the nature of the raid there is nothing I can really do. Having a flasked raid is a good thing for an alt run.

Tell us about your last guild(s) and the history with why are you choosing us over them:

I started off on the Hyjal server, playing a mage with Relentless back when molten core was new and progressed through content, BWL, AQ40, Naxx 40 (up to 4 horsemen). With the release of TBC the guild remade itself into Driven where they continued to raid content, clearing SSC, TK, BT and made it up to Twins before the nerf. With the release of WOLK things once again under went flux and I found myself increasingly frustrated with the lack of everything. A group of us split of and made Illuminaughty a more hardcore guild with a strong PVP aspect. We had out hayday in Ulduar but were unable to recover after key members left.

At this point I ended up xferring over Magtheridon to play with Genesis. I greatly enjoyed this experience, being the first true hardcore guild I had ever played with. However, over the Christmas break, my account was hacked and I only found out after I came back after a two and half week period. By the time I managed to get my account restored, they had recruit another DK and there wasn't an active raid spot. Reason why I'm considering buying an authenticator. During my time with Genesis, I farmed Yogg 0 light for months, and was part of the Realm First kill of Anub Hard.

I then transferred to Kel'thuzad to play with the Bad News Bear, however, to be blunt, it is not working out here. When I applied, I was informed that it would not be for a core raid spot, that I would have to earn my spot. However, I've done nothing but sit on my hands for the last month. I've been allowed to attend alt raids but that is all. On top of that I managed to royally tick off one of the main officers in the guild for posting glyph auctions against him. I've been informed that there is no raid spot for me currently nor is the situation expected to change any time soon. On top of that, the lag on KT is worst I've ever experience. Honestly, I'm frustrated, the guild officers are most likely frustrated, so I've begun looking for another guild.


Tell us how you play your class, and how it makes you stand apart from others:

I can give you the standard answer, unique and powerful debuff that is easily applied to en mass, strong survival, strong aoe, and over all high dps.

I started playing a Death Knight because I was tired of playing an enhancement shaman in PVP due to constantly being the kill target. And well, DK's seem to offer every perk and none of the draw backs. I started off as Unholy and made the swap to 2hand Frost for early Naxx, and then transitioned into blood for Ulduar. At which point I started playing unholy and haven't looked back since. I personally find the survival factor of a death knight, cannot be understated, we can survive almost anything the game can throw at us and take it without worrying. Correct timing of cooldowns and situational awareness make the class a joy to play. Have the strongest aoe in the game is also something that I had great fun with through Uld and TOGC.

What do you have bound to your 1-5 keys?

1 is my flex key, I change it depending on the circumstances various macros, taunt etc.

I have everything bound to 1-5 and my mouse, I heavily abuse crtl, alt and shift modifiers. A few other random keys around the WASD keys.

Tell us about yourself. Show us the man/woman behind the character. And impress us, make us laugh. Convince us we want you in our guild. If you don't take the time to sell yourself, there's no reason for us to want to take you. We've worked hard to make this a great place to raid and demand incoming candidates prove they're committed to continuing that.

I hardly know where to start, personally I have spent most of the early years fighting forest fire in the Yukon and North Alberta. Made paying for university very easy. Survived some bad accidents and enjoy playing WOW to a high level. I greatly enjoy playing in the arenas, even though blizzard is doing their best to kill our class with the recent nerfs. Played to 2400 in 2v2 and 2550+ in 5v5 bracket, always just short of gladiator. I enjoy a wide smattering of music, everything from country and classical to techno and rap. I'm a very easy person to get along with and usually make the best of any situation. I consider myself rather blunt and to the point, I love to argue and enjoy a good dark beer.

Regarding raiding, I've been a raid lead and officer in the past and know full well the joys of these positions. And have been greatly enjoy being a raider again. I strongly believe in min maxing and make good use of the various theory crafting tools at my disposal. I hate rawr with a passion, and thus make good use of DKsim and DK optimize and am active on EJ forums. I have a full tank set and prefer blood tanking, however, I am considering swapping to frost for tanking. My pvp spec is variation on Shadow Frost with a focus on death coil spam. I have a resto shaman alt, that I mainly use for pvp. I have healed some of ICC but I am mainly using him to farm up Frost Badges for my DK. I play this game to raid and to have fun, at the end of the day I want the guild to progress and be there to see it.

Solid app the only thing I can really say anything about it is the parses seemed a bit on the low side on some fights but you also said you were lagging pretty hard.

Have you tried using SmoothPing or any other latency reducing utilities?

Yes I'm aware you have reasons other than lag for looking elsewhere, just am curious.

I used to raid with Eliora before she went to Genesis.
